Airtable consultant for small businesses
Airtable bases your team actually trusts, with linked records, simple apps for each team and automations that catch mistakes before they cost you.
When Airtable is the right tool
Airtable sits between a spreadsheet and custom software. It's worth it when your records link to each other (clients, orders, products, suppliers), several people edit at once, or you need approvals and simple apps on top of your data. If a spreadsheet does the job, I'll tell you so.
What I build
- Bases designed around how you work, with clients, orders, products and suppliers linked properly instead of copied between tabs
- Interfaces for each team, so designers, purchasing and outside partners each see only what they need
- Automations and scripts for status changes, approvals, notifications and creating the next record in a process
- Data checks that flag missing or inconsistent information before it reaches a client or an invoice
- Connections to Shopify, Slack, Gmail, Google Drive and others through n8n, Make or Zapier
An example
A fashion brand runs its whole product development in one Airtable base: designs and sign-offs, sample requests and reviews with factories, purchase orders, invoices and customs paperwork. It holds tens of thousands of records across more than 50 tables, and about 75 automations do the routine work. Purchase orders turn into PDFs by themselves, and a daily digest flags any record that's filled in wrong.
How we'd start
Most clients begin with an audit (from $500): I map what you have, list what's slowing you down and give you a prioritised plan. A base that's grown messy over the years is the most common starting point. See the packages or the FAQ.
