n8n, Zapier & Make automation
The repetitive work runs itself. Data is entered once, documents get generated, people get notified and errors get caught.
What gets automated
- Data typed into several places, entered once and synced everywhere it's needed
- Documents: purchase orders, PDFs and exports for Shopify or customs, generated from your data
- Reminders and notifications: invoice reminders, Slack digests, emails when a record changes
- Reports that build themselves, like daily sales by product pulled from Shopify
- AI steps where they help, such as drafting review notes from product photos for a person to check
Zapier, Make or n8n?
Zapier is the easiest to start with and fine for simple "when this happens, do that" jobs. Make handles longer workflows for less money. n8n is the most flexible and can run on your own server, so costs stay flat as volume grows. I build in all three and pick the one your team will be able to look after.
Examples
- A recruitment agency: automatic invoice reminders, contract start and end tracking, and a monitor that flags records that don't add up
- A fashion brand: n8n on their own server generates purchase orders, tech packs and mood boards as PDFs, pulls daily sales from Shopify and sends a daily data check to Slack
- A training company: booking confirmations created and emailed straight from Google Sheets
Built to keep running
Every automation comes with error alerts, so a failure gets noticed straight away, not weeks later. You also get a short walkthrough video, so your team knows what runs and when. Automation projects start from $1,500. See the packages or the FAQ.
