Writing & case studies

Projects I've worked on and notes on keeping data in order.

CASE STUDY · 29 OCTOBER 2026 Leaderboard charts for an AI evaluation company An AI evaluation company had benchmark results in spreadsheets and wanted charts people would stop and share on LinkedIn and X. I turned the raw tables into a set of polished leaderboard visuals in their dark-and-gold style. CASE STUDY · 29 OCTOBER 2026 A chart template system for a firm that publishes data on social media A small firm turned large datasets into charts by hand, and every chart looked different. I built a set of Excel chart templates with one consistent look, a source line on every chart, and a short video so the team could use them on their own. CASE STUDY · 29 OCTOBER 2026 One Airtable system for a fashion brand, from sketch to purchase order A growing fashion brand ran design approvals, factory samples and purchase orders across spreadsheets, email and chat. Now it all lives in one Airtable base, with about 75 automations doing the routine work. TRAINING · 29 OCTOBER 2026 Teaching Google Sheets to a magazine's editorial team A 7-hour corporate Google Sheets training for a US book review magazine, delivered through an international training provider and built around the team's own spreadsheets. CASE STUDY · 29 OCTOBER 2026 Assembly hours tracking for a racking installer in Belgium A Belgian racking company needed its assembly crews' hours logged, checked and turned into project costs. I built it in Google Forms and Sheets, with one personal form per fitter, an approval queue with a morning reminder, and live project reports. CASE STUDY · 29 OCTOBER 2026 Contracts, commission splits and invoice reminders for a recruitment agency A recruitment agency tracked contracts in two places and chased invoices by hand. Working with their team, we gave contracts one source of truth, worked commission splits out from it, and set reminders to go out on their own. CASE STUDY · 29 OCTOBER 2026 3,000 spelling bee words, defined overnight with the Merriam-Webster API A parent preparing their child for a spelling bee had 3,000 words and no definitions. A small script pulled each one from the Merriam-Webster Collegiate Dictionary, flagged the tricky ones, and produced a clean sheet ready for flashcards. TRAINING · 29 OCTOBER 2026 Teaching statistics and data, from university classrooms to company teams Since 2021 I've taught statistics, econometrics and data analysis at two universities in Tbilisi, coached Economics Olympiad finalists, and run workshops and corporate trainings on data tools. CASE STUDY · 29 OCTOBER 2026 Bookings, trainers and travel costs for a UK training company A UK company running medication training for care providers juggled courses, trainers, calendars and travel by hand. Now Airtable plans each session, works out travel and keeps everyone's calendar up to date.
